so very little technical knowledge is required. If you can send an
email, or resize a photo, you can update your own website. Of course we
will always be on hand to help if you get stuck!
If you are looking for a cheap option to get your work on the web, we recommend you look somewhere else. We provide custom built sites for photographers which take many hours of work by our skilled programmers and designers, and as such are naturally more expensive than 'off the shelf' solutions.
A note about FLASH
- We do not recommend entirely Flash websites. Search engines hate them
because they are image based and not text based. To really benefit from
a website your site needs to be visible to the search engines, so you
get as much free traffic from search results as possible. Photographers
struggle with this even with simple HTML websites, because many focus
solely on style and images, and neglect the importance of readable
text, and search engine optimizing the pages with titles and meta tags.
Flash sites are also difficult to update.
